What is RSS?
RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. Using RSS, we can tell you when our website has been updated with new content. It is an easy way for you to keep up to date with news and stories from the RNLI.
How do I use RSS?
You may find that by simply clicking on the above heading you will be able to subscribe to the feed through the internet browser you are using. Alternativly, follow the instructions below to use a dedicated RSS reader.
Get an RSS Reader
To use RSS you need an RSS reader. RSS readers automatically check the internet to see if RSS feeds have been updated - then directs you straight to the new content.
You can either download an RSS reader as software to use on your computer, or you can use an internet based RSS reader online.
