About this station
Situated on the third largest of the Channel Islands, Alderney lifeboat station was the first station to receive an all weather Trent class lifeboat; it also operates an inshore D class lifeboat. The crews have been presented with 19 awards for gallantry.

Three RNLI relief fleet inshore lifeboats, funded by generous legacies, will be officially named in the Sea Survival Centre at The Lifeboat College in Poole, Dorset, on Tuesday 2 September.
